Kassidy Johnson is Director of Corporate Affairs at Amgen Thousand Oaks.

For more than 15 years, Kassidy has been a noteworthy leader in public relations and communications, building a career that spans Washington, DC, and Memphis, TN. She has consistently delivered thought leadership and storytelling expertise to define, develop, and pitch compelling brand narratives across diverse demographics for organizations including First Horizon Corporation, ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Race Point Global, The Pivot Group, and AFSCME.

Kassidy led social media strategy for First Horizon during a two-year merger and conversion with IBERIABANK. She also implemented a corporate communications strategy for nine regional market presidents and HQ as part of First Horizon’s rebranding and thought leadership initiatives.

At ALSAC, Kassidy created a multicultural influencer program that significantly increased engagement across campaigns and led a CEO-appointed team to develop and present DE&I recommendations. In her first year, she helped achieve $3.2M in fundraising goals and led PR efforts across platforms totaling $350M.

Kassidy began her career in Washington, DC, working with leading PR agencies and direct mail firms.  She holds an MBA from Christian Brothers University and a B.S. from North Carolina A&T State University. She is also a graduate of the 2019 Memphis Fellows leadership program.

Now based in Thousand Oaks, CA, Kassidy remains actively involved as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and serves as President of the Braxton Daryl Johnson Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that raises scholarship funds. A natural communicator on and off stage, she brings energy and charm as a seasoned host and emcee—whether she’s leading a corporate event, hosting the Fresh Fridays music series, or keeping the vibes high at her popular karaoke nights, her commitment to community, storytelling, and connection is evident in every space she enters.
