Kate Achille is CEO of The Devon Group, a leading independent tech PR and marketing services agency, specializing in HR technology, fintech, and emerging enterprise markets. Known for her expertise in narrative development, executive visibility, and market positioning, Achille helps technology companies build influence, strengthen brand credibility, and accelerate business growth in highly competitive sectors while also leading The Devon Group’s vision, operations, and client growth initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Achille was marketing manager at the lecture agency Royce Carlton, later absorbed into CAA. There, she helped promote high-profile speakers, including Fareed Zakaria, Thomas Friedman, Anna Quindlen, Jon Meacham, Joan Rivers, Noah Feldman, and many more. Achille also worked in recruitment marketing and employer branding at Verizon, authored a book on President Lyndon B. Johnson with a renowned Harvard Law professor who served in his administration, copywrote for a noted online beauty retailer, and served in AmeriCorps VISTA.
Achille is a thought leader in the future of work and communications industries. She publishes the biweekly newsletter The How and co-hosts the podcast Up Next @ Work on the WRKdefined network, where she explores trends shaping HR technology, AI, workplace innovation, and modern brand communications. Achille earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Studies from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in Historical Studies from The New School. She serves on the board of SafeSceneNJ.
