Katrin Atienza, VP Marketing at ShelterPoint Life, handles all facets of Marketing in her role; but she particularly focuses on writing to-the-point copy, shaping brand identity, driving towards a customer experience-focused culture and MarTech. Katrin has grown the department from a 1-person function to a team of 6 by proving the value of Marketing and shifting its role to an integral, strategic with result-generating initiatives. One of her key initiatives was turning the company’s goal of becoming New York’s leading carrier for the recently mandated Paid Family Leave benefit into reality by masterminding an education-over-brand content marketing campaign. Katrin has received 15 awards for her designs and creative direction. Outside of her professional life, she self-published two poetry books.
