Kristin Komar leads global workplace communications initiatives at Uber, focusing on enhancing the in-office employee experience across the company’s worldwide footprint. Her work ensures employees are supported, connected, and informed every time they step into an Uber office.
She has played a key role in reimagining Uber’s intranet—transforming it into a modern, AI-informed hub with personalized office guides and resources needed for life in the office. In her three years at Uber, Kristin has brought a strategic lens to workplace communications, blending innovation, empathy, and clarity to elevate the employee journey in today’s hybrid world.
Before joining Uber, Kristin spent six years at United Airlines, where she led internal communications for Total Rewards.
Outside of work, she’s a dedicated volunteer with Make-A-Wish Illinois and an avid traveler, having explored 36 countries—and counting.
