Lara Harrison

Lara Harrison is a strategic communications leader with over a decade of experience driving brand storytelling, crisis response, and community engagement for mission-driven organizations. As Senior Communications Manager for the National Audubon Society’s Delta region, she oversees multi-state communications across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas, leading initiatives that amplify conservation impact, strengthen stakeholder trust, and champion diversity and inclusion in environmental storytelling. Lara also chairs Audubon’s Black Employee Resource Group and is a frequent speaker on equity-centered communication, storytelling strategy, and leading with empathy in times of crisis.
