Laura McBride
Manager of Community and Engagement, Culture and Experience team - First Onsite
Laura McBride is the manager of Community and Engagement on the Culture and Experience team at First Onsite, a global property restoration company. McBride developed a passion for growing cohesive and effective teams throughout her years working with startups and young tech companies. She engages audiences with empathy, humor and a healthy dose of snark. She believes that diverse teams who seek out different perspectives and ideas are the teams who consistently celebrate the most wins.
McBride has her PHR (Professional Human Resources) certification and a BA in Sociology from Oklahoma State University. She is Certified as an Emergenetics Associate and in DE&I and Organizational Change through the National EIDA Center. McBride also serves as the Board President for Khesed Wellness, a nonprofit that provides affordable and accessible outpatient mental health services for the underinsured.
