Mahogani Chery

Mahogani Chery is a communications and culture executive with nearly 20 years of experience helping global organizations navigate transformation, strengthen culture and build trust with the people and communities they serve. She currently serves as Senior Director of Global Communications & Culture at Subway, where she advises senior leaders and leads executive communications, enterprise messaging and culture initiatives supporting the company’s business priorities. 

Prior to Subway, Mahogani spent a decade at Bacardi, where she held leadership roles across global corporate communications, employee engagement and culture. She later established and led the company’s first Belonging function, building partnerships with more than 35 organizations and directing initiatives that generated more than $5 million in community engagement and social impact. 

A Fellow of the Obama Foundation Leaders program, Mahogani has also served on boards and councils across the hospitality and business communities and is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She earned her MBA from Nova Southeastern University and her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Florida, where she was recognized with the inaugural Gator Nation LeaDErshIp Award.
