Martine D. Maingot
Director of Communications for the Equity and Inclusion Cabinet - City of Boston
Martine D. Maingot is the Communications Director for the City of Boston’s Equity and Inclusion Cabinet, where she leads messaging, strategy, and storytelling to advance the City’s equity initiatives. Since joining the Cabinet in November 2023, she has overseen communications efforts that engage residents, elevate community voices, and strengthen public understanding of the City’s work across departments. Prior to joining the City of Boston, Martine served as Digital Director at the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, where she provided strategic communications counsel to the executive team and led the agency’s website, social media, visual branding, and digital content strategy.
Earlier in her career, Martine held communications and marketing leadership roles across the healthcare and financial sectors. She served as Communications Director at Moberi Dental Specialists, a Houston-area dental practice specializing in endodontic and general care, and previously worked as Marketing Manager at East Boston Savings Bank, where she oversaw communications and marketing initiatives for more than 26 branches. Martine began her career in Boston as a speechwriter for the Mayor’s Office of Homeland Security, where her remarks were delivered at the Harvard School of Public Health and at engagements in London. She later joined BzzAgent, one of the earliest word-of-mouth and sampling marketing agencies, before becoming an early employee at Kool Smiles pediatric dentistry, where she advanced to lead sales and new business development as a Certified Community Relations Specialist.
