Matthew Hirsch oversees PR, influencer and partnership work across premium spirits brands within the Pernod Ricard USA portfolio. He is strategically embedded as a cross-functional leader to drive two of the company’s most promising growth prospects: American whiskies and agave spirits (Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, Jefferson’s Bourbon, Código 1530 Tequila, Altos Tequila, and Del Maguey Mezcal). With an innate understanding of an evolving media landscape coupled with keen talent relations, Hirsch’s contributions continue to reinforce cultural relevance for Pernod Ricard’s roster of brands.

Before joining Pernod Ricard USA in 2021, Hirsch started his own PR consultancy, Hirsch PR, when faced with the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic and a struggling hospitality industry. In under two years, he amassed an impressive list of clients, including 1-800-Flowers.comTempleton RyeBenjamin SteakhouseVeggie Grill, and VirusSAFE Pro (restaurant software solution founded by Robert Irvine). Prior to Hirsch PR,  he served as Associate Vice President at The Door, managing high profile clients in the beverage sector (Mikkeller Brewing, Jefferson's Bourbon), food (Pat LaFrieda Meat Purveyors, Hudson Yards Culinary Collection, Fireman Hospitality), and lifestyle/entertainment (HBO, South Beach Wine + Food Festival). He preceded this with an in-house position at Baked by Melissa, the bite-sized cupcake brand, leading all communications efforts inhouse – including public relations, influencer, events, and partnerships.
