Raúl Sánchez

Professor Raúl Sánchez is the Director of the NYU Workplace Learning Innovation Lab and an award-winning professor of intercultural business communication and linguistics at NYU’s School of Professional Studies. As a faculty lead, he has served as the NYU corporate program coordinator, delivering corporate trainings for the United Nations, Bloomberg and Anheuser Busch, as well as been a writing consultant for Barnes & Noble Press and PBS. Raúl is the co-author of the award-winning book on intercultural communication How to Communicate Effectively with Anyone, Anywhere (Career Press), recipient of the Axiom Business Book Award and selected as a "Top Title" by the Financial Times. He was awarded the NYU Teaching Excellence Award and the Paula Gonzales Award for his research dissertation at Oxford University. He has presented at numerous international conferences, including his co-delivered TEDx Talk on Communication. Raúl regularly contributes to the Harvard Business Review, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Business Insider, and Fast Company. He has also been published in "Harvard Business Review’s “Writing, Presenting, and Communicating with Confidence" as part of the Work Smart Series and published in HBR’s 10 Must-Reads on Communication as part of the HBR Must-Reads Collection.
