Sarah C. LaBorde

As an Emmy-nominated, award-winning marketing and communications practitioner, Sarah LaBorde, APR, is the current Communications & Sustainability Manager at Crest Industries. There she spearheads the company’s strategic communication and public affairs efforts alongside the Senior Executive Team and community partners. LaBorde earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the Manship School at LSU and her MBA from LSU - Shreveport. She is a board member of the Public Relations Association of Louisiana, The Young Professionals Group of Central Louisiana, and the Public Relations Society of America. She has presented on public relations strategy and marketing innovation at local, regional and national events, and she’s passionate about helping communicators unlock their full potential through empowerment and community building. LaBorde’s most recent accolades include the President of the Year from the Southern Public Relations Federation, Woman of the Year from the YWCA of Alexandria, PRSA Anvil Award Winner in Internal Communication, and a National Finalist for Outstanding Young Professional from PRWeek Magazine. Sarah is a passionate volunteer, supporter of her local arts community, and loves to travel, but her greatest joy is spending time with her family - the crazy “Krewe of LaBorde.”
