As a seasoned crisis communications leader, Sarah guides GoFundMe’s public affairs work in moments of crisis around the globe. Under her leadership, GoFundMe and its executives have been featured in the New York Times, Associated Press, Wall Street Journal, Fortune, and Forbes, and recognized on TIME100’s list of the Most Influential Companies and People. Sarah brings over a decade of experience as a communications leader in government and politics, including serving as Communications Director at the Department of Homeland Security, for U.S. Senator Tim Kaine, and as Virginia Communications Director for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.
