Scott Pansky is the founder and chief relationship officer of Sandbox Lessons and the co-founder of Allison Worldwide. After 25 years at Allison Worldwide, he recently left the company to launch Sandbox Lessons, a consulting company that helps develop practical, interactive workplace culture programs that use timeless lessons of cooperation, trust, creativity and mutual respect to strengthen organization effectiveness and employee engagement. Utilizing his book, Playing Together in the Sandbox, he has developed a proprietary program to help nonprofits, educational institutions and brands develop relationships that not only raise brand awareness and funds, but can lead to strong cultural initiatives. He has implemented programs with Partnership with Native American, Kids in the Spotlight, the Open Hearts Foundation and his former company, Allison Worldwide.

He co-founded Allison Worldwide a week before September 11, 2001. In less than 25 years, the agency has multiple offices around the world. Pansky is a nationally recognized leader in cause-related marketing and purpose-based work and has taught courses on the topics through the UCLA Extension for more than 18 years. With more than 30 years of experience working with brands on corporate social responsibility and thought leadership programs, he has developed internal communication strategies, community outreach programs and national branding and partnership programs that have increased both revenues and reputation for his clients.

Throughout his experience developing best-of-class cause-related campaigns, he has created proprietary methodologies to help corporations find the best possible focus for their cause-related efforts. He has worked with many organizations including Smile Train, Stand Up to Cancer, Lymphoma Research Foundation, the ALS Therapy Development Institute, GoGo squeeZ, Los Angeles County Public Works, the state of California’s Anti-Tobacco program, First 5 California, Hasbro, Hyundai, YouTube, MySpace, Mrs. Field’s Cookies, HomeGoods, Boost Mobile, Career Education Corporation, Southwest Airlines, Vitamin Shoppe, Microsoft, Toyota, Aramark and Best Western Hotels. A frequent speaker and passionate educator, he received the David Ferguson Award for Education from the Public Relations Society of America and was recently inducted into the PRSSA Hall of Fame. He currently chairs the Journalism and Media Services Advisory board for San Diego State University and serves on the boards of PRSA LA, the Lymphoma Research Foundation and the Center for Nonprofit Management. He is on the advisory boards for Kids in the Spotlight and the City Scholars Foundation and sits on the Los Angeles Unified School District’s Citizen’s Bond Oversight Committee.
