Sherrie Voss Matthews

Sherrie Voss Matthews is Senior Director, Communications at Washington University in St. Louis. Previously, she was Director of Internal Communication for University Health in San Antonio, Texas, where she directed multiple channels to inform and engage more than 11,000 team members across the academic health system and its more than 30 clinics. She has more than 20 years of experience in higher education, publishing and nonprofits. She has a Master's in Communication from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, and a Bachelor's of Journalism from the University of Missouri - Columbia.

She is a long-suffering Mizzou Tigers fan, an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Blues fan, and really misses her Ozarks Mountains and the Arch. Also Ted Drewes.
