Stephanie Paterik is an award-winning journalist who has covered the advertising industry for more than a decade, from the evolution of ad tech to the rise of AI. As editor-in-chief of The Trade Desk, she leads content across platforms including The Current news site and the Edge Academy. She was previously editor-in-chief, SVP of Adweek, where she spurred the publication’s digital transformation, international expansion, and relaunch of Brandweek. Named one of FOLIO's top 100 media executives, she was educated at The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and cut her teeth as a newspaper reporter. Her work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Parade, and Glamour. She lives in Brooklyn and the North Fork with her husband, two children, a puppy, a crested gecko, and a bookcase full of poetry.
