Tracy Cooley

Tracy Cooley has nearly 25 years of experience in communications, marketing and public relations. For the past seven years, Cooley has worked on numerous contract-based and freelance communications projects, which included internal communications roles for Ernst & Young and Accenture, as well as leading media relations for the distribution of Corcoran Art Museum’s collection.
Previously, Cooley served as senior director of communications for the Biotechnology Innovation Organization where she led a campaign to increase media coverage for the BIO International Convention. She is an adjunct communications professor at Northern Virginia Community College and has previously taught upper-level public relations courses at American University.
Cooley received her master’s degree in public communication from American University, where she also served as a graduate fellow. Prior to that, she graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of New Mexico with a bachelor’s degree in communication and journalism.
