As Chief People and Communications Officer (CPCO), Veronica ensures Talking Rain remains an employer of choice and a beacon for positive community impact. Veronica leads all aspects of communications and human resources, including talent acquisition, people operations, learning and development, corporate communications, public relations, community, and philanthropy.
Veronica has championed initiatives that strengthen employee wellness, support women in leadership, and promote community and innovation across the organization. Under her guidance, Talking Rain’s leadership team is now 62% female, and the company has earned recognition for its corporate philanthropy and cultural excellence. It was named one of Washington’s Best Workplaces, earned the Puget Sound Business Journal’s Corporate Compassion Award in 2025, and was named a finalist for two Ragan CSR Award categories in 2026, among other recent honors.
Veronica is particularly proud of her work furthering Talking Rain's vision of helping people "live life in full flavor" through local and national nonprofit partnerships such as K9s For Warriors, Girls on the Run International, The Jed Foundation, and the American Cancer Society. Locally, she leads Talking Rain's partnership with Seattle Children's Hospital, including support for the hospital’s Child Life program.
Talking Rain selects nonprofit partners that help support healthy communities, personal wellbeing, and greater inclusivity. Veronica has brought each partner's mission to life through volunteer days, employee events, and company-hosted initiatives, reshaping Talking Rain's culture around meaningful investment in people inside and outside the organization.
Since joining Talking Rain in 2010, Veronica has taken on expanding leadership across the company. She holds a B.A. in communications from Washington State University and is a member of the Ragan Top Women in HR Awards Class of 2026.
