AI Certificate Course for Communicators

AI Content Strategy, GEO & Agents—The Skills You Need Next

March 10, 17 and 24 | 1-3 p.m. ET
Three consecutive modules

AI is reshaping comms faster than teams can adapt, and the skills gap is widening.

According to new LinkedIn research, half the skills you’ll need in 2030 didn’t even matter in 2015—and total skillsets may shift by 70% by decade’s end. At the same time, GEO, agentic systems and multimodal tools are transforming how audiences discover, trust and engage with our brands.

Communicators now need a sharper mix of technical skills and human judgement to stay relevant. Yes, you read that right. Human-first skills are becoming more valuable—not less.

LinkedIn’s latest analysis shows rising demand for AI literacy, content strategy, stakeholder management, executive comms, adaptability and collaboration. Communicators who thrive won’t just “use AI”—they’ll combine it with stronger POV, creativity, EQ and decision-making.

This updated course gives you both sides: The AI capabilities that drive speed and scale—and the human skills that drive meaning and trust. You’ll build AI-first content strategies, optimize for GEO, deploy agents and protect brand voice and accuracy—all while keeping your comms authentic and human in an increasingly automated world.

ENROLL NOW

You’ll learn to:

  • Engineer Prompts: Apply advanced patterns (Role-Task-Format, C.R.E.A.T.E. and POV-based prompting) for faster, more accurate, on-brand outputs.
  • Build AI-First Content Strategies: Turn business goals into message pillars, briefs and editorial maps built for an AI-shaped attention landscape.
  • Win in GEO Search: Restructure pages into citable chunks, strengthen authorship signals, earn citations and monitor visibility across SGE, Perplexity and other AI search engines.
  • Adopt the Right Tools: Compare ChatGPT-5.1, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Perplexity—and choose the best tool for drafting, analysis or distribution.
  • Deploy Agentic AI: Build lightweight agents for research, media monitoring, internal comms prep and content QA—all with clear guardrails and governance.
  • Measure Meaningfully: Set up simple dashboards that track time saved, quality gains, GEO citation share, sentiment signals and revenue contributions.
  • Protect Trust: Apply privacy, copyright, bias and disclosure frameworks so content stays credible, compliant and brand safe.
  • Lead with Human Skills: Strengthen adaptability, executive communication, stakeholder management and distinctiveness—the human skills AI can’t replace.

CURRICULUM

Join to harness AI to improve your efficiencies, content and results. You’ll receive assignments and a certificate of completion.

Week 1:
March 10, 1-3 p.m. ET
AI-First Content Strategy: Prompts, Pillars & GEO Visibility

AI is only as good as the direction you give it—and in 2026, that means pairing strong prompting with an AI-first content strategy that produces clearer thinking, stronger messages and more consistent outputs. In this module, you’ll learn how to use advanced prompting patterns to guide AI toward on-brand drafts before turning those drafts into strategy-aligned content built from message pillars and brief structures. Then you’ll apply those same principles to GEO, learning how AI search evaluates and cites content so you can reshape your pages for both human readers and AI-driven discovery. What you’ll learn:

  • Prompt Like a Pro: Use advanced prompting patterns (Role–Task–Format, C.R.E.A.T.E., POV prompts) to produce clearer, more consistent drafts.
  • AI-First Strategy: Turn business goals into message pillars, topic clusters and brief structures that give AI reliable direction.
  • GEO Foundations: Understand how AI search summarizes, evaluates and cites content—and what that means for structure and formatting.
  • Visibility Strategies: Strengthen authorship, summaries and citable blocks to increase your odds of appearing in SGE, Perplexity and other AI search systems.
  • Applied Case Studies and Brand Examples: See how communicators are using this combined approach to improve clarity, discoverability and message alignment.

Light Homework: Bring one piece of content you already have—an email, article, internal update or post—and give it a quick refresh using one prompt pattern and a small GEO tweak. Bring both versions to Module 2 so we can look at them together.

Week 2:
March 17, 1-3 p.m. ET
Agents, ROI & The Human OS: Scaling What Only Humans Do Best

Let’s jump to the next stage! Join us to operationalize your content using lightweight agents and clear workflows that save time without sacrificing accuracy or oversight. You’ll learn how to design and test simple research, monitoring and drafting agents, then tie those outputs to metrics that prove value to leadership. From there, we’ll focus on the human skills that rise in importance as AI accelerates—distinctiveness, judgment, adaptability and executive comms—so your work stays credible, recognizable and strategically grounded in an increasingly automated environment. We’ll cover:

  • Agentic Workflows: How to build simple, task-specific agents for research, monitoring, drafting or QA—with clear guardrails and approvals.
  • Workflow Integration: Tips to connect agent outputs to your existing processes so AI supports the team instead of creating extra steps.
  • Measurement & ROI: How to set up straightforward dashboards that track time saved, quality gains, engagement signals and GEO improvements.
  • Human OS Skills: How to strengthen the human abilities rising fastest in demand right now—including distinctiveness, POV, adaptability and executive comms.
  • Case Studies: Learn how others are using agents and human-first leadership skills to increase impact and credibility.

Light Homework: Choose one task you’d like an agent to help with and sketch a simple idea for how it might work. Don’t build anything yet—just bring the idea to Module 3 for live guidance. Or bring a detailed AI problem from work for us to solve together next week.
