AI Certificate Course

New Skills to Master AI-First Content, GEO & ROI

November 10, 17, and 24 | 1-3 p.m. ET
Three consecutive modules

Register now to keep up with new AI launches, improve your AI strategy, lead in AI integration, crush AI content creation, streamline workflows with agents—and future-proof your career.

AI is moving fast—and so are expectations. With ChatGPT-5, agentic workflows, AI search (GEO) and early AI generated “world-twin" environments (Genie 3), communicators need practical new skills that translate into quick results. This hands-on certificate course gives you exactly that: a clear AI guide for smarter prompting, an AI-first content strategy that accounts for Google’s SGE and Perplexity, and simple dashboards that prove ROI for your team’s AI use.

Join us and you’ll practice with today’s leading tools (ChatGPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and more) while learning how to keep brand voice, privacy and compliance intact. We’ll show you how to fold AI into workflows—drafting copy and visuals, tailoring content by persona, automating low-value tasks with lightweight “agents” and preparing for the ripple effect of AI-driven search.

You’ll leave with practical templates, protective guardrails and a 30-day plan to apply what you learned when the course wraps. The goal isn’t to chase shiny objects—it’s to produce better work, faster, while protecting your brand and career by making a stronger case to leadership for continued investment.

What you’ll get: live instruction, recordings, worksheets, a weekly exercise and a certificate—plus confidence that you’re ready for what’s next without overwhelming your team or calendar.

CURRICULUM

Join to harness AI to improve your efficiencies, content and results. You’ll receive assignments and a certificate of completion.

Week 1: Tools & Prompting
Nov 10, 1-3 p.m. ET
AI Policies, Platforms & Prompts: Getting the Foundations Right

AI is evolving too quickly for “dabble and hope.” Weak prompts and loose policies create bland outputs, brand risk and time drains. This first session levels up your fundamentals so AI becomes a force multiplier—not a liability—and gives communicators the tools you’ll need to take ownership of writing AI policy for your organization. You’ll align on practical guardrails, pick the right tools for the job and adopt prompt patterns that consistently deliver on-brand results. What you’ll learn:

  • Responsible AI: How to set clear rules for privacy, source use and bias checks—plus a simple human-in-the-loop flow your legal team will accept.
  • Tool Stack Update: What’s new in ChatGPT-5, Claude, Gemini and Copilot, including how to know when each is best for research, drafting or analysis.
  • Feed Your Voice: How to load brand guidelines, tone sliders and personas so outputs sound like you, not a bot—all without heavy model “training."
  • Prompt Patterns: How to use Role-Task-Format and C.R.E.A.T.E. frameworks to turn vague asks into precise, repeatable instructions that raise quality and speed.
  • Beyond Chat: How to use specialized AI features—such as code interpreters and knowledge graph queries—to refine and optimize content creation.

Light Homework: Apply one prompt pattern to rewrite a real asset (email, post or release). Then bring the before/after to next week’s module.

Week 2: Content Strategy & GEO
Nov 17, 1-3 p.m. ET
Plan, Produce, Publish: Using AI and GEO for Content Strategy

Content is everywhere, attention isn’t—and AI search is rewriting how people find you. This module shows how to use AI to build a stronger content strategy, then keep that content visible in today’s zero-click world with GEO (AI search). We’ll move from goals → message pillars → briefs → distribution funnel, with concrete steps to protect brand voice, accuracy and discoverability intact. You’ll learn:

  • Strategy: How to use AI to turn business goals into message pillars, personas and content journey maps—then cluster topics, draft briefs and build an editorial calendar.
  • Creation: Prompt templates to help you produce on-brand variations for execs, frontline employees, customers and media—with tone and accessibility checks.
  • Distribution: How AI can help you tailor, A/B test and adjust your content by channel (e.g., email, SharePoint, LinkedIn, TikTok, newsroom, etc.).
  • GEO Visibility: How to restructure pages into citable chunks, add schema and clear authorship, seed trusted sources and monitor or correct AI citations.
  • Measurement: A simple scorecard for AI usage (time saved, output quality, engagement), plus GEO KPIs to track like answer share and citation sentiment.

Light Homework: Draft a one-page AI-first plan for a real content initiative—including pillars, brief outline and key channels. Then note three GEO edits to improve citation odds for one existing URL.

Week 3: Multimedia & Agents
Nov 24, 1-3 p.m. ET
Video and Agents: Tackling the Hard Stuff, Step by Step

Most communicators are comfortable with AI copy—but video, images and agents still feel like a black box. That’s a missed opportunity. Short-form clips and executive avatars now publish in minutes and simple task-specific agents can clear bottlenecks across PR and internal comms. This advanced module makes the “hard stuff” approachable and useful—from avatars to agentic workflows. What you’ll learn:

  • On-Brand Images: How to pick the right AI tools for images, prompt for more realistic images, follow consent and licensing rules and more (we’ll create two images together).
  • Video and Avatars: What’s new in AI video and how to use it (we’ll cover Runway Gen-3 Turbo, Sora, Fable and X’s Vine return—and demo HeyGen together).
  • Agent Frameworks: A practical step-by-step framework you can follow to create your own agents.
  • Workflows: Examples of successful agentic workflows—plus how to plug one of the agents we created into your org’s channels while setting owners and approvals.
  • What’s Next: A snapshot of upcoming AI releases, AI policy moves and the AGI horizon—plus a 60-day AI watchlist to wrap 2025 so you can brief leadership and your team.

Not-So-Light Homework: Launch a 30-day agent pilot on one narrow task at your organization. Point it to a shared inbox or folder, route drafts to a review channel for human approval and track time saved plus one quality metric to brief leadership.
