Which search engine optimization (SEO) tactics does your firm use?

MarketingSherpa asks if link-building is the most difficult SEO tactic to employ. Alternatively, is content creation the most effective?

MarketingSherpa offers some interesting statistics about how people are using SEO in its new report.

Among the tactics deployed, keyword and phrase research is done by 93 percent of respondents, with 81 percent using title tags. Some 67 percent use URL structure, while 53 percent are employing blogging.

Among its other observations:

1. Content creation is the most effective SEO tactic: 92 percent said it’s either “very effective” or “somewhat effective.”
