Comcast’s Level X program takes employee communications beyond simple outreach and attempts at behavior change and instead aims to incentivize interaction.

During Ragan’s Communications Boot Camp Virtual Conference last year, Josephine Posti, director of employee communications for Comcast’s Florida region, said that Level X overhauled its employee comms approach by rewarding employees for interacting with newsletters, trainings and more.

“While clicks, opens and impressions are important metrics, the reality is our leaders are looking for results tied to retention, productivity and profitability,” Posti said. “Level X helps employees become enthusiasts, influencers and ambassadors by increasing their product knowledge, celebrating our people and connecting friends, family and businesses to our services.”

She added that one of the biggest keys to the Level X program’s success is that it helps employees understand the company’s products and services.
