Awards program recognizes the agencies, corporations, nonprofits and organizations creating exceptional workplace cultures for communications professionals.
Entry Deadline: November 6, 2026
Late Deadline: November 13, 2026
CHICAGO, IL, Aug. 19, 2026 – Ragan Communications is now accepting entries for its 2026 Top Places to Work in Communications Awards, an annual recognition program honoring organizations where communications professionals are supported, valued and given opportunities to build meaningful careers.
Great communications work depends on more than talent. It takes strong leadership, opportunities to learn and grow, competitive benefits, trust, flexibility, recognition and a workplace culture that gives people the support they need to succeed.
Ragan’s Top Places to Work in Communications Awards give agencies, corporations, nonprofits and other organizations the opportunity to show what they are doing to create that kind of employee experience.
“Communications professionals are trusted with some of an organization’s most important work, from reputation and media relations to employee communications, executive counsel and brand storytelling,” said Brendan Gannon of Ragan Communications. “This program recognizes the employers that understand how important it is to invest in the people behind that work and create workplaces where communicators can grow, contribute and build lasting careers.”
The entry deadline is November 6, 2026. Learn more and enter here.
Organizations may compete in categories based on their size and type, including communications and PR agencies, corporations, nonprofits and other organizations. Spotlight categories recognize specific aspects of workplace culture and the employee experience, including:
- Top Agency Workplaces
- Top Corporate Workplaces
- Top Nonprofit & Organization Workplaces
- Career Advancement Opportunities
- Employee Engagement Programs
- Employee Recognition Programs
- Employee Voice, Trust & Transparency
- Executive Leadership
- Learning & Development
- Work-Life Balance
View the full list of categories here.
Entries can highlight the programs, policies and workplace practices that help communications professionals succeed. Organizations may share employee feedback, engagement and retention results, career-development opportunities, leadership programs, benefits, recognition efforts, workplace flexibility, learning initiatives and other evidence that demonstrates a strong employee experience.
Recognition as one of Ragan’s Top Places to Work in Communications gives organizations a credible way to share their workplace story with current employees, prospective talent, clients and the broader communications community. It can also help celebrate the leaders and employees who have contributed to building a culture people are proud to be part of.
Companies making the list will be recognized during a live awards event in spring 2027 alongside communications leaders and organizations from across the industry. Recognition will also extend across Ragan’s websites, newsletters and social channels.
The entry deadline is November 6, 2026. Late entries will be accepted through November 13, 2026, with additional late fees applying after November 6.
