Chris Dickey is AVP, Corporate Communications at Nuveen, the asset manager of TIAA. Over his three years with the firm, he helped build the company's internal communications function from the ground up and now serves as a strategic communications business partner to senior leadership. He leads communications for Nuveen's AI adoption programs and has been at the forefront of reshaping how the company connects internally, leading the transition from email to Viva Engage as the primary hub for leader and employee communications and helping shape the next generation of internal communications platforms through ongoing collaboration with Microsoft. Before Nuveen, he held internal communications leadership roles at Workday, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Northern Trust. With more than 20 years of experience, Chris is drawn to the intersection of communications, technology and design, and enjoys helping teams think differently about how internal comms gets done.
