Kayla Marrero

Kayla Marrero is a communications and community impact specialist at Giant Food, one of the Mid-Atlantic’s leading grocery brands and a trusted community anchor across Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia and Delaware. In this role, she supports communications that connect the brand with its communities and stakeholders. A rising voice in the communications field, Marrero brings experience across social media strategy, public affairs, media relations, corporate communications and purpose-driven storytelling, with previous roles at Adfero and Hilton. She is also active in The PR Habitat, a digital-first community for young professionals growing careers in PR and communications, where she supports marketing and content strategy. Marrero is an IPR NEXT member through the Institute for Public Relations, where she has contributed thought leadership on confidence, career growth and creating your seat at the table as an emerging communications professional.
