Linjuan Rita Men, Ph.D., APR, is a Professor of Public Relations and Director of Internal Communication Research in the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida. She is the founder and director of the Internal Communication Research Hub, a virtual center dedicated to advancing innovative research, education, and best practices in internal communication. With a background in corporate communication research and consulting, Men’s research interests include internal communication, leadership communication, emerging technologies, and entrepreneurial communication.
Men has published more than 120 refereed journal articles and book chapters. She is the author, co-author, or editor of six books, including four focused on internal and leadership communication. Her work has been cited more than 16,000 times, with a Google Scholar h-index of 60 and i10-index of 95 as of August 2026.
Men’s contributions to the field have been widely recognized through numerous research awards and honors from national and international communication associations and conferences, including the 2022 Hillier Krieghbaum Under-40 Award from the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication. She serves as an associate editor of the Journal of Communication Management and is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society. Men has also worked internationally with Alibaba Group and Ketchum and has provided management communication consulting to multinational corporations, startups, and nonprofit organizations.
