Shelly Henderson

Shelly Henderson is Director of Internal Communications at EvergreenHealth, a public hospital system serving the Eastside of the Puget Sound region. Henderson leads internal communication strategy for enterprise initiatives, executive messaging, change communication and employee-facing channels across hospitals, medical groups, post-acute care and system operations.

With more than 25 years at EvergreenHealth, she partners closely with senior executives and operational leaders to translate complex priorities into clear, practical communication employees and leaders can use. Her work includes communication strategy for leadership transitions, major technology and operational changes, partnerships, workforce initiatives, capital expansion, public hospital district education and organizational readiness efforts. She is passionate about building communications that earn trust, equip leaders and help teams understand what is changing, why it matters and what comes next.
