A few weeks ago, Sara Davidson asked me why and how I was using Formspring to communicate. Formspring has been a great way to pool answers to the various PR/communications questions I receive on Twitter. I’ve also seen the service used in a similar way by authors and online personalities to field questions from their respective fan bases.

CMOs and PR professionals may have dismissed Formspring as a viable platform because of its seemingly simple Q&A format and a spate of negative coverage this year.
