Grade: C The Georgia State University Web site is a standard design marred by cluttered sections. A search field, for instance, was bunched in the top right hand corner with a lazily aligned drop down menu and a handful of quick links.

Virtual and video tours of campus housing are available on the site. Unfortunately, the virtual tour is clunky to navigate and features horrifically bad smooth jazz music with a schmaltzy voiceover. Virtual tours probably don’t need music and this music certainly wasn’t going to win over any college-age students.

The menu for parents covers all the big interest points—security, meal plans, housing and payment plans. I liked that Georgia State offered the “Tuition Pay” budget plan for student accommodation.
