Survey: Social networks enhance offline relationships
A new survey from Pew Research Center found that social network users are more social, involved and open minded in real-life relationships than those who aren’t on social sites.
Since the birth of social networking sites (SNS), many have wondered if spending time on the various online venues causes damage to users’ real-life relationships.
To determine the answer, Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project conducted a survey to measure how social networks relate to trust, tolerance, social support and community and political engagement.
