Does one metric drive more interaction than the other? Yes, according to a study from EdgeRank Checker. Comments spark more engagement than likes. Four times more engagement, in fact.

EdgeRank Checker studied how many clicks a post received against the major Facebook metrics—likes, comments and impressions. It found that for every like a post gets, it receives an average of 3.1 clicks. For every comment a post gets, it receives 14.678 clicks.
