AT&T fired one of the executives named in a $100 million discrimination lawsuit this week.

According to the suit, an assistant found offensive images and texts on the phone of Aaron Slator, a president in charge of content and advertising sales with the telecom giant. One such text reportedly included a photo of an African child dancing with the caption “It’s Friday…” followed by the n-word. Slator’s text reportedly called the image “an oldie but a goodie.”

AT&T’s statement is brief and to the point: “Aaron Slator has been terminated. There is no place for demeaning behavior within AT&T and we regret the action was not taken earlier.”
