The Narrative Group, a small lifestyle public relations agency founded in 2009, won the contract from McDonald’s to publicize the 2013 launch of its new healthy-menu item, the Premium McWrap. Narrative set up big events at two “iconic” Southern California locations, featuring live music, a McDonald’s mobile restaurant, and dozens of A-list celebs, who tweeted their followers about the McWrap doings on the hashtag #UnwrapWhatsFresh. The Narrative Group garnered 584,300,000 media impressions, with big coverage in Star, People magazine, The Wall Street Journal, E!, The Huffington Post, and Yahoo!TV.
