Marrying traditional PR with leading-edge digital sensibilities has helped Nebo attract communicators who stay with the agency—which prides itself in having never laid off an employee. Among the elements of culture that appeal to staff is a passion for pro bono work. One of its projects, Choose ATL, promoted Atlanta as a digital hub. The multi-faceted campaign—centered on the www.chooseatl.com website—resulted in 30+ million impressions from earned media coverage and more than 10,000 views of the Choose ATL video. Passionate Atlantans, the Nebo staff also took on a pro bono fundraising campaign for the Atlanta BeltLine, a sustainable urban growth project to encircle the city with a 22-mile corridor that will include trails, transportation networks, and public parks.
