Cisco Systems had an SEO problem. It came up with SPMC as a solution.
The company, a supplier of networking equipment and management, has its Service Provider Mobility Community (SPMC) up and running. Now its search engine optimization (SEO) issues are in the past; it ranks close to the top 10 in searches of specific mobility terms, such as “WiMAX vs. LTE,” “IP RAN,” or “mobile broadband.”
“We weren’t coming up with those solutions even though we offered a solution in those areas,” says LaSandra Brill, Cisco’s senior manager of digital and event marketing. “Now we’re coming up because they’re being talked about on the community.”
