Copyblogger’s 5 steps for creating effective online content

Looking to crank out more dynamic content? Copyblogger offers some tips that go beyond the usual “don’t publish content that sucks,” which is about as helpful as coaching a quarterback, “Just throw lots of touchdowns.”

The question Copyblogger ponders is this: “What makes some content marketing succeed, while other writers work and work and never seem to get anywhere?”

Some of them are crashing bores, perhaps? Writer Sonia Simone doesn’t seem to think so. Instead, she comes up with a formula—Effective Content = Education + Personality—then amplifies with five steps for doing that.

“If you use this framework,” she writes, “you’ll avoid the pitfalls that bring down most content marketing.”
