An infographic from Dale Carengie Training says organizations with engaged employees outperform companies with unengaged employees by a whopping 202 percent.
Needless to say, that’s significant.
Are your employees engaged in their work? You may be surprised to hear that almost three-quarters of U.S. employees (71 percent) are not.
According to the graphic, there are three key drivers of employee engagement. If your employees lack an emotional and functional commitment to your organization, it may be due to one of these factors:
- Relationship with direct manager: Eighty percent of employees who are dissatisfied with their managers are disengaged.
- Belief in senior leadership: Seventy percent of employees who lack confidence in their C-suite are not fully engaged.
- Pride in the company: More than fifty percent (54 percent) of employees who are proud of their company’s impact on society are engaged.
