Mitigate the power of pings by clearing out old messages, setting an email schedule, unsubscribing from lists and creating a tidy filing system.

The infographic opens with stats that show the toll that email takes on us. For instance, it takes 64 seconds to refocus after getting derailed by a notification. Multiply that by 100 or so, and you’re looking at a day’s worth of distraction.
