More than 1 million people downloaded Instagram the day it became available on Android phones. The photo-sharing app currently has 40 million users, and Facebook recently bought it for $1 billion. What’s with all the fuss?
To better understand the Instagram craze, Online Colleges created an infographic with everything you need to know about the mobile photo app.
According to the graphic, a new user signs up for Instagram every second, which puts it on track to reach 1 million users only two years after it launched (October 2010). It took Facebook four years to reach the same milestone.
