Senior communications manager - Great American Insurance Group
Amy Zimmerman is the senior communications manager at Great American Insurance Group, a property and casualty insurance company. She oversees internal communications for the company’s more than 8,000 employees in more than 120 locations throughout North America and Europe. Zimmerman has over 20 years of communications experience. During her 16-year tenure with Great American, Zimmerman has held various communication positions of increased responsibility. Prior to joining Great American in 2002, she held communication and marketing positions at several financial and accounting firms, including PricewaterhouseCoopers and Clark, Schaefer & Hackett Company. In 2008, the Greater Cincinnati YWCA recognized Zimmerman as Rising Star and she completed its board development program in 2009. She currently serves on the board of Back Me Home, a charitable organization dedicated to promoting volunteerism and encouraging shared family experiences for those in crisis.
