Stami Williams is the Director of State Public Affairs for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), which represents innovative biopharmaceutical research and discovery companies. The association is devoted to advancing public policies in the U.S. and around the world that support innovative medical research, yield progress for patients today and provide hope for the treatments and cures of tomorrow. She's also and adjunct professor for Applied Political Communications and Digital Communication Platforms and Strategies at The George Washington University. She previously served as Director of Communications for U.S. Congressman Joe Wilson, U.S. Congresswoman Karen Handel, U.S. Congressman Jeb Hensarling, as well as Press Secretary for U.S. Senator David Perdue, among others.
