A platform geared toward nonprofits may invigorate Web video; that doesn’t mean you should be making them
Need a platform for your online video?
Blogger Geoff Livingston suggests you check out Involver, a new platform for launching marketing campaigns on social networks. Involver is billed as an ideal tool for nonprofits because it is makes “video marketing accessible to all,” Livingston said.
Involver is different, he explained, because it simplifies the sharing process and makes it easier for viewers to sign up and take action. Here’s how it works, according to the company behind it: You upload the video to Involver and then, if you like, add interactive options such as quizzes or surveys.
The company claims that after only “a few clicks” you can publish your video to any number of social networking sites; it also lets you build a “branded Facebook community” and provides tools to track viewers.
