Chief blogger at IABC writes in corporate-speak, Strumpette editor steps down and Edelman’s CEO remains mum on Wal-Mart.

Among the tidbits Hattori shares from the plan are IABC’s “Strategic Priorities.” Here are some phrases from that section: “service delivery channels … leveraging technology to maximize networking opportunities … operational efficiencies … fostering top-quality.”

This language is the kind of garbage business-speak communicators loathe, and it was written by the leaders of the International Association of Business Communicators.

Perhaps the most infamous voice in the PR/communications blogosphere is calling it quits. Amanda Chapel, the persona behind Strumpette blog, announced her resignation Oct. 8 from the role of Strumpette editor. “I fought the good fight,” Chapel wrote. “Together we’ve exposed a few frauds and killed countless sacred cows.”
