LAIKA Studios’ “Walk a Different Path” initiative strengthened employer brand with engaging content and strategic outreach

LAIKA won the Recruitment Video award at Ragan’s 2025 Employee Communications Awards with its “Walk a Different Path” initiative, creating a multi-channel employer branding campaign that connects and inspires.

The initiative, launched in 2023, reinforced the film studio’s status as a top animation employer. By uniting marketing and HR efforts, the campaign highlighted LAIKA’s workplace culture through multi-channel storytelling, including the #LifeAtLAIKA content series.

Since its debut, social following has grown 30%, and traffic on the careers page has surged 92%. Internal engagement also thrives, with 96% of employees visiting the company intranet. By amplifying employee voices and offering a clear value proposition, LAIKA fosters connection, attracts talent, and sustains its competitive edge in the stop-motion animation industry.

Brasfield & Gorrie’s employee storytelling video drove record engagement

Brasfield & Gorrie  won the Corporate Video Award at Ragan’s 2025 Employee Communications Awards with its “Hispanic Heritage Month: Meet Rafael” video, which revamped the construction firm’s Hispanic Heritage Month approach by telling one compelling employee story instead of spreading resources thin.

The company profiled Miami-based carpenter Rafael Natera, producing a high-quality video that resonated internally and externally. It became the company’s most-viewed Instagram post, with 15,600+ views and saw 932 reactions — 163% more than 2023’s content. Engagement skyrocketed, with comments increasing 1,833% year over year. Employees praised the video’s authenticity, and Venezuelan news accounts shared it widely. The success reaffirmed the company’s commitment to meaningful storytelling and stronger representation for its Latin workforce.
