We’ve all heard them—words that aren’t real but sound like they could be.
We’ve also heard words that aren’t real—and shouldn’t be.
A conversation about the topic on the International Association of Business Communicators’ (IABC) LinkedIn group inspired us to ask Ragan readers what made up words they think are the most memorable.
Maybe you like combining two words together to make a new one, like “ginormous” or “prexactly.”
Maybe you’ve heard someone turn a noun into a verb, such as “decisioning.”
Or maybe there just isn’t a word in the English language that describes exactly what you want to say, like “schmoozle.”
Whatever your best made up words are, we want to hear them. Share them on our Facebook page. (Don’t forget to leave a definition in the comments!)
