Establishing an influential employee resource group remains an effective way to ensure support for LGBTQ+ employees is demonstrated year-round.

With Pride Month upon us, many organizations are once again taking a closer look at what it means to provide support for LGBTQ+ employees. As states continue to enact legislation designed to censor gay voices and lifestyles, and frontline workers face harassment for their organization’s support of the LGBTQ+ community, we are reminded that it’s not enough to sequester your support for this community to the month of June. Making allyship a tenet of your core values means showing it every month.
