It feels like 2014 has been the year of content marketing. Will the trend continue into 2015?
An infographic from Wheelhouse Advisors says yes. The infographic shares 10 marketing predictions for 2015, including the continued rise of content marketing, a focus on mobile and an emphasis on the importance of marketing data.
Here are four of the infographic’s predictions:
1. Content marketing will continue to rise.
Interesting content is one of the top three reasons people follow brands on social media, and B2B organizations with blogs bring in 67 percent more leads than organizations without them.
2. Marketing data will become increasingly important.
Experts predict the amount of money organizations spend on marketing analytics will increase 60 percent by 2015. Additionally, chief marketing officers say they spend about 8 percent of their budgets on data, and they plan to increase that amount over the next three years.
