Infographic: 7 reasons why millennials don’t like your content

Millennials want content that’s concise, thought-provoking and funny. If it’s not, they won’t share it—nor want to buy anything from you.

By 2020, millennials will control more than $1.4 trillion in spending power.

If millennials aren’t your customers already, they will be soon. Is your content resonating with them?

An infographic from NewsCred lists seven reasons why it might not be.

Here are a few:

1. Your content isn’t useful. Thirty-one percent of millennials say they’re more likely to buy something from a brand that offers interesting or educational content.

2. Your content is too long. Forty-one percent of millennials say the primary reason they stop reading or viewing a particular piece content is that it’s too long.

3. Your content is dumbed down. Sixty-percent of millennials won’t share content unless it’s smart and thought-provoking.

4. Your content isn’t funny. If you can create content that’s educational, thought-provoking and funny, you’ll have a winner. Seventy percent of millennials say the primary reason they’ll share a piece of content is that it makes them laugh.
