At Ragan’s first Workplace Wellness Conference, Hilary Phillips Mehta, vice president of employee experience at Edelman unveiled findings from its latest report around employer trust and wellness at work.

Edelman-Trust-Barometer

Over its 22-year history, the Edelman Trust Barometer has revealed many trends. In “The Belief-Driven Employee,” a special report tied to its 2021 edition, Edelman uncovered how the pandemic shifted employee thought processes regarding their employment and wellness.

Six in 10 employees said they’re choosing employers based on their beliefs, expect more in job offers and burnout is a decisive issue for them. Employees are calling for health initiatives at their organizations too, feeling empowered to advocate for workplace wellness and 8 in 10 employees expect their company to play a meaningful role in good health. Losing talent impacts the bottom line and overall wellness of an organization and should be a priority focus for employers.
