Unifying your internal comms systems
Combatting ‘app fatigue.’
It’s a familiar pain point: You want to complete what should be a simple task, but you have to bounce from an email tool to an intranet tool to an employee survey tool to gather all the pieces you need.
“It becomes a very fragmented experience for users. In the end, it is also more expensive and more difficult to maintain,” said Randall Kerr, solutions architecture and security at Simpplr, during Ragan’s recent Employee Experience Conference.
Simpplr is working to combat this “app fatigue” in a variety of ways.
“We’ve introduced a concept called App Tiles that allow us to tap into either prebuilt or custom integrations with any application you might want,” Kerr explained. “We tap into the API and we create actions that can be completed by users right within the Simplr interface.”
For instance, an integration with Workday would allow users to submit PTO requests to their manager directly within Simpplr without ever having to leave the interface.
