Study: Employee engagement ticking up, but it's not all good news
Despite reports that look to the summary statistic that employee engagement rose by two percentage points in 2011, the details show a mixed bag.

More employees were emotionally and intellectually engaged in their work in 2011 than they were the year before, an Aon Hewitt study released this month found. The percentage of engaged employees worldwide—the study looked at nearly 10 million employees at 3,100 organizations—ticked up from 56 percent to 58 percent.
